Prati has decided to conclude the galactic year by exhibiting at Labelexpo Americas (Hall C 3529) the DIGI COMPACT, the converting and finishing line for self-adhesive labels and digitally printed flexible packaging, with JetFx digital embellishment unit. This “small but mighty” machine can combine analog and digital technology on a wide range of materials from 12 to 350 microns and, after conquering the audience at drupa by converting, in a roll-to-stack configuration, the “Messages from the Prati Galaxy” into Prati philosophical cards, is now ready to amaze the overseas audience with a different configuration. In fact, it will be exhibited with a cutting unit and a rewinder, and will be able to perform the converting of self-adhesive material from roll to roll for the rewinding of large rolls and subsequent finishing passage on the control table (Q/C machine), as well as roll-to-roll finishing in a single pass. Furthermore, the rewinding shafts, from 25.4 to 152 mm in diameter, will be interchangeable! This configuration also includes a cutting module for the division of tracks and/or the removal of side trims.
In addition to being ergonomic and compact, it is characterized by a reduced paper passage and, with a view to environmental sustainability, ensures a reduction of waste during the set-up phase. Simple to use by the operator, it has many functions managed directly autonomously by the machine. As for flexibility, DIGI COMPACT is also a multitasking machine as it allows many types of processing (roll to roll, roll to sheet and roll to stack) all-in-one.
